Named after the war mission declared against Hamas in the wake of the savage terrorist attacks of October 7th, 2023; this two-sided design lets the one wearing it show solidarity with those going through this existential fight in Israel. The front of the shirt features a play on words of the expression, "the struggle is real", along with a graphic representing the military campaign.
The back of the shirt has a map of Israel with a translation of the beautiful Israeli national anthem, "HaTikvah", or "The Hope". We decided to include these lyrics because one of the most astounding things about the Jewish people is our capacity to hold on to the light of hope even in our darkest of hours. And while the present hour seems dark, certainly the darkest of our lifetime, let the strength of the Holocaust survivors steel our collective nerve and inspire us to flourish in the coming years. To that effect, I have posted below a deeply touching article and corresponding video that tells the tale of how HaTikvah was used as a source of strength during the Holocaust.
